The urban planning concept is based on the existing Feldhof building structure, which it extends. The linear block buildings running north to south and point-block buildings running east to west are arranged peripherally on the sides of the property. They define a further, continuous open space in the middle of the area, which is given variety by the transverse position of the point-block buildings that connect with the Schleifi green area to the north, acting as both a residential and access courtyard. A single-storey, structural boundary element precisely marks the building site out from the three surrounding streets, supporting the arrangement of the individual buildings. It also fulfils various additional functions: along the north entrance, the protruding service building protects the residential buildings behind it from noise and, at the same time, creates a pleasant distance between them and the Feldhof development. Along Feldstrasse and Stichstrasse to the east, it forms the base area of the buildings and acts as a roof over access areas and ramps to the residential courtyard and underground car park.
The residential buildings are essentially characterised by ground slabs protruding on all sides with glazed balustrades functioning as a further key component of the overall noise control concept. They determine the clear, orthogonal basic shape of the building, which is deliberately contrasted by the animated façade cladding of the individual floors. The apartment floor plans are organised in such a way that they benefit from the best possible orientation with beautiful views out of the windows and into the distance, as well as in direct relation to the inner courtyard. There are no bedrooms facing the north entrance.
