The new office building sees itself as part of an ensemble consisting of the existing WWZ buildings and the new building. As the headquarters of the WWZ, the building tries to do justice to the development and ideas of the WWZ. It respects the planned design plan and wants to support this development through a future-oriented design but also a way of thinking. The building is open to Chollerstrasse and thus underlines its service function.
The building is a flowing space in which a lively exchange takes place. Depending on requirements, rooms can be created and dismantled again. The openness between the floors should also contribute to communication. The façade moves away from the floor ceilings, making the room larger and more attractive to employees, which in turn increases well-being. The use as an open-plan office, single and two-person office is easily possible, this allows the proposed concept. The heart of the building is a garden. The "green lung" improves the indoor climate, creates a natural atmosphere and acts as a "filter" between the floors. The possible single and two-person offices are equipped with a balcony accessible to the garden and airspace. This enables short breaks and spontaneous communication between employees.
